Four-star safety Bryson Washington spurned his home state on Thursday, as the native Texan announced he'll play college football at Oklahoma.
The C.E. King High School star received offers from several schools in his home state, including Texas, but he chose to join the Sooners instead.
ESPN lists Washington as the fifth-ranked safety in the 2020 recruiting class, and the 168th-best prospect overall. He's the seventh player from the ESPN 300 to commit to Oklahoma for 2020.
