NCAA football's rules committee is proposing a number of changes to the game for the 2020 season, according to Ralph D. Russo of The Associated Press.

Among the proposals is a two-minute limit on replay reviews, allowing players ejected for targeting to stay on the bench for the remainder of the game, and placing an official and a coach on the field during pregame warmups. The committee is concerned about players from opposing teams getting into skirmishes before games.

The NCAA's playing rules oversight panel will discuss the proposals on April 16.
