Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross will undergo surgery in early June, a school spokesperson told ESPN's Andrea Adelson.

The surgery is related to stinger symptoms the pass-catcher experienced during March's spring training. Stingers most commonly affect the neck and shoulder area.

The 20-year-old is "doing great," added the spokesperson.

Ross is the Tigers' top returning receiver. He racked up 66 catches for 865 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019.
