Despite the Big Ten's and Pac-12's decision to cancel fall football and attempt to play in the spring, the Big 12 isn't ready to pull the plug just yet.

The conference presidents wrapped up a call on Tuesday and will continue to pursue playing the 2020 season, sources told Bruce Feldman of The Athletic.

A revised conference schedule for all 10 teams will be released on Wednesday, with its first slate of games scheduled for Sept. 26, according to Chuck Carlton of the Dallas Morning News.

The upcoming college football campaign appeared to be in jeopardy over the last few days, but the Big 12, SEC, and ACC all appear intent on playing out the season during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A handful of Group of 5 conferences reportedly plan to follow suit, as the AAC, Sun Belt, and Conference USA are trending toward playing the fall campaign, sources told Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger.

Similar to its Power 5 peers, the Big 12 is expected to roll out a conference-only regular-season schedule.
