SEC leads way with 6 teams in final CFP rankings

With No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Georgia leading the way, the SEC topped all conferences with six teams in the top 25 of the final College Football Playoff Rankings of 2021.

No. 8 Ole Miss, No. 21 Arkansas, No. 22 Kentucky, and No. 25 Texas A&M joined the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs, surpassing the four teams from both the Big Ten and ACC.

Michigan remained in the No. 2 spot heading into a blockbuster playoff matchup against Georgia, while No. 4 Cincinnati made history, becoming the first Group of 5 team to ever make the CFP semifinals.

The Pac-12 and ACC were both left without a program in the top 10, as No. 11 Utah and No. 12 Pitt led those conferences, respectively.
