Georgia reasserted itself as one of the nation's two best teams Friday with a 34-11 blowout victory over Michigan in the Orange Bowl.

The performance from Kirby Smart's outfit was an impressive rebound after the Bulldogs fell 41-24 to Alabama in the SEC title game the last time they took the field.

The win sets up a rematch with Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in the national championship game next Monday.

Here are five standout stats from the dominant performance in Miami.

Michigan entered the contest having allowed just one 300-yard passer this season in Ohio State's C.J. Stroud. That number came with the Buckeyes trailing for the majority of the game and forced to throw. Georgia's Stetson Bennett, the former walk-on, almost hit that number in the first half alone.

With a 24-point lead, Bennett barely threw in the second half but still ended up with 310 passing yards in the blowout.

It took Michigan almost 37 game minutes to force a punt. The Bulldogs turned their first five possessions into three touchdowns and two field goals while building their 27-3 halftime lead. It marked the first time since 2010 that the Wolverines allowed an opponent to score points on at least its first four drives of a game.

Georgia's defense gets most of the hype, but there's no mistaking the fact that the offense can pile up points in a hurry. For the 11th time this season, the Bulldogs hung 30-plus points on an opponent, with Friday's 34-point outing coming against the nation's third-best scoring defense. The Wolverines surrendered over 30 points in just two games this season - both of the team's losses.

Michigan entered the game ranked ninth in the country at 223 rushing yards per contest and had topped the 100-yard mark in every single game this season. That changed Friday thanks to the Bulldogs' swarming defense. The Wolverines got nothing going on the ground, with the prolific duo of Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins combining for just 45 yards on 12 carries.

If it feels like the CFP semifinal games are blowouts every year, it's because the vast majority of them are. With Georgia's 23-point win following Alabama's 21-point victory over Cincinnati, 13 of the 16 CFP semifinals all time have been won by double-digits. The Crimson Tide are responsible for six of those.
