USC quarterback Caleb Williams, Ohio State signal-caller C.J. Stroud, TCU passer Max Duggan, and Georgia QB Stetson Bennett were named finalists for the 2022 Heisman Trophy on Monday.

The Heisman Trophy Trust will announce the winner Saturday in New York.

Here's information on the four finalists:

Caleb Williams

Key stats: 66.1% completion, 4,075 passing yards, 37 TDs

Williams put on an absolute show in his first year at USC, helping the Trojans' offense average 499.8 total yards per game en route to an 11-2 record. He ranked first in passing touchdowns and fourth in passing yards this season. The sophomore also torched his opponents on the ground, scoring 10 rushing TDs. Williams, who transferred to USC after starting his career at Oklahoma, is the favorite to win the award.

C.J. Stroud

Key stats: 66.2% completion, 3,340 passing yards, 37 TDs

Stroud could become the first Ohio State player to win the Heisman since Troy Smith in 2006. Stroud's numbers this year aren't as solid as last year's, but he still finished the season tied for the most passing touchdowns in the country while being supported by one of the nation's top receiving corps. Stroud was also a finalist for the Heisman last year, finishing fourth.

Max Duggan

Key stats: 64.9% completion, 3,321 passing yards, 30 TDs

Few could've thought Duggan would be a Heisman finalist after he began the season as TCU's No. 2 quarterback. But he put on a show after taking over the starting role, leading the Horned Frogs to an undefeated regular season and their first College Football Playoff appearance. TCU fell short against Kansas State in the Big 12 title game, but Duggan, who tossed only four interceptions this season, was undoubtedly one of the most outstanding players in college football.

Stetson Bennett

Key stats: 67.9% completion, 3,425 passing yards, 20 TDs

Bennett's numbers aren't nearly as flashy as his competitors' on this list. But with him under center and arguably the sport's best defense on the other side of the ball, Georgia was the best team in college football for the second straight year. Bennett, who helped the Bulldogs win the national championship last season, posted a 13-0 record in 2022. He's the first Georgia player to be named a finalist for the Heisman since Garrison Hearst in 1992. The school's last player to win the honor was Herschel Walker in 1982.
