Ex-Patriot recalls Belichick ripping into Brady during 16-0 season

Apparently no one is above the wrath of Bill Belichick - including Tom Brady - even on a good day.

While appearing on a recent episode of the "Your Mom's House Podcast," former New England Patriots fullback Heath Evans shared a humorous story about Belichick ripping into his star quarterback in the midst of the team's 16-0 regular season in 2007.

"I remember it was '07. We smoked a team by like 50 points and Bill comes in and he's mouthing off at Brady about something," Evans said (starts around the 2:51:10 mark).

"I'm trying to remember how it started, but he's like, 'If you weren't so worried about you and Gisele's next GQ magazine, maybe, just maybe, you wouldn't have thrown that interception. What is this Christmas? It's October, Brady. Christmas come early or something? I can go somewhere for Foxboro High and get someone to throw that ball better than you.' So just like going at him, you know?"

Evans went on to criticize those who say that playing for the Patriots isn't fun.

"When you're a winner in your heart, there's no better place to play," he said.

The 2019 season will mark Brady and Belichick's 20th campaign together in New England.
