The New York Giants are hitting the road against the undefeated New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football in Week 6. Here are the best player props to consider for the prime-time tilt.

Daniel Jones under 220.5 passing yards

The one factor working against this prop is that Jones will probably find himself in plenty of passing situations. The Giants are very thin in the backfield following injuries to running backs Wayne Gallman and Saquon Barkley, and they're also 17-point underdogs who figure to be trailing.

However, there are more factors that favor this prop. For starters, to collect yards through the air, you need, well, players who can catch the ball. Beyond Gallman and Barkley, the Giants are also down wide receiver Sterling Shepard and tight end Evan Engram due to injuries. Additionally, the forecast is calling for rain and heavy gusts, which are sure to affect the downfield passing game. And to make it a full-on disadvantage for Jones, he'll be facing a defense that's allowed the second-least explosive pass plays of any unit this season.

Julian Edelman to score TD

I'd take a plus-money play on Edelman to score a touchdown here, as he'll be facing a Giants secondary that's been bullied all season long. Despite recording just a pair of scores through five games, the veteran receiver leads New England's skill corps in targets with 41. Plus, Edelman should see plenty of rookie DeAndre Baker in the slot on Thursday.

New York's defense has already allowed 10 touchdowns through the air this season and that number should increase on Thursday at Gillette Stadium - with Edelman getting in on the action.

Josh Gordon over 59.5 receiving yards

Speaking of the Giants' defensive backfield, they've been dominated by outside receivers all season long. Dallas' Amari Cooper went off for 100-plus yards and a score in Week 1 and Tampa Bay's Mike Evans put up 190 yards and three touchdowns in Week 3. Overall, New York's secondary is No. 31 in the league in defensive explosive pass rate, having allowed 14 such plays already this season. Gordon's the second-most targeted receiver on the Patriots and should have his way against Janoris Jenkins.
