Ben Affleck reveals Brady's vague response to question about future

Die-hard New England Patriots fan Ben Affleck is doing his part to get to the bottom of Tom Brady's free-agency plans, but hasn't had much luck getting the quarterback to open up.

Affleck revealed Tuesday on ESPN's "Get Up" that he and friend Matt Damon texted Brady to ask whether he's leaving the Patriots, and only received a shrugging emoji as a response.

Brady, who has spent his entire 20-year career with the Patriots, is scheduled to become a free agent on March 18. The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers are among the teams expected to pursue him if he doesn't re-sign with New England.
