Joey Chestnut set a new world record at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on Saturday after eating 75 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.

It was the fifth straight victory and 13th win overall at the event for the 36-year-old.

The annual Fourth of July spectacle, which typically takes place on New York City's Coney Island boardwalk, was held indoors and without fans for the first time ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing measures were in effect for the contestants and judges.

In the women's event, Miki Sudo won her seventh straight title after downing a record 48.5 hot dogs and buns.
