We started our home run prop series with a bang, as Toronto's Teoscar Hernandez (+260) led off Monday's game with a solo shot. Can we make it two days in a row with a winner?

Here are the players who are solid candidates to go deep on Tuesday.

Asdrubal Cabrera, Nationals +650

The ball just continues to fly out of Nationals Park, which was the second-friendliest park for home runs last season. Hernandez parked two on Monday, while the Blue Jays tallied four altogether. If the confines continue to serve as a launching pad, why fix what's not broken?

In this matchup, Cabrera's your best bet. He's 7-for-20 lifetime against starting pitcher Tanner Roark, with four extra-base hits. Roark is prone to giving up the long ball and owned the sixth-lowest groundball percentage in baseball last year.

With the wind blowing out yet again, expect more jacks in D.C.

Anthony Rizzo, Cubs +330

Rizzo crushed his third home run of the season on Monday. For a player whose launch angle had gradually declined over the years, Rizzo's completely flipped the script so far in 2020.

Year Anthony Rizzo Launch Angle
2015 17.2
2016 16.2
2017 15.3
2018 14.7
2019 12.6
2020 29.1

His launch angle will settle down, but he's obviously made some positive tweaks. The Cubs first baseman has a chance to stay hot against right-hander Tyler Mahle, who served up 25 home runs (15 to left-handed hitters) in 2019.

Joey Gallo, Rangers +220

It's taking hitters a while to get adjusted to Globe Life Field. The Rangers and Rockies weren't able to hit one out in the first two games of the opening series this past weekend, but combined for three home runs in Sunday's rubber match. The lone Texas homer belongs to Gallo, and he's the best bet for Tuesday.

The Rangers should be all over Diamondbacks righty Merrill Kelly. The former KBO product throws a four-seam fastball roughly 50% of the time, which should play right into Gallo's hands. Last year, he bashed two-thirds of his homers off fastballs and posted a launch angle of 28 degrees, the best of any pitch.
