The MLB slate is loaded for Wednesday. With 14 games on tap, there's plenty of value across the board.

Let's dive into the best bets to hit a home run.

Joey Votto, Reds +650

Votto's been the sparkplug for Cincinnati. The veteran first baseman bashed a homer in each of his first two games and has tallied hits in four of five contests in 2020. This is a solid bounce-back spot for him after going 0-for-3 Tuesday.

Votto's feasted on Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks, going 11-for-28 with three homers and six total extra-base hits in his career.

The forecast calls for sunny skies, hot conditions, and a light breeze blowing out, so Great American Ball Park should be friendly to hitters.

Christian Yelich, Brewers +290

We'll stay in the NL Central and make a play on Yelich, who's just 1-for-22 to open the year. However, he could get going Wednesday against Joe Musgrove.

Yelich has hit for the cycle over 13 at-bats against the Pirates right-hander. Overall, he's recorded a lifetime OPS of 1.231 off the hurler.

The Brewers outfielder also loves hitting in Pittsburgh. He's notched nine career homers at PNC Park, tied for the fourth-most at any park.

C.J. Cron, Tigers +390

The Tigers' offense will struggle this season, but the team fields some free-swinging sluggers who can lace the ball. Cron is among them, and his price Wednesday is too good to pass up.

He's mashed against Royals southpaw Danny Duffy over his career, going 5-for-14 with two homers, three total extra-base hits, and an OPS of 1.251.

After crushing 25-plus homers in each of the last two seasons, the 30-year-old has already clubbed a pair during the 2020 campaign. He could very well hit his third tonight.

Fade

There are always hitters you should steer clear of on the board. Here's the biggest fade for Wednesday.

Left-handed hitters vs. Andrew Heaney

Angels left-hander Andrew Heaney didn't give up a home run to a left-handed hitter in 2018 over 160 plate appearances, and he only allowed six of his 20 homers last season versus lefties.

Although the ball can fly out of Angel Stadium - the No. 5 park in home runs per high drive in 2018 - Heaney's dominance against lefties makes hitters like Kyle Seager (+460) and Shed Long (+550) tough to trust on Wednesday night.
