There will be a lot of clowns in the stands when the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Indianapolis Colts in their season finale Sunday.

Hundreds, possibly thousands, of Jaguars fans plan to attend Sunday's game dressed in clown costumes in an effort to persuade owner Shad Khan to fire general manager Trent Baalke, according to Mark Long of The Associated Press.

A large number of Jaguars fans have already changed their profile pictures on Twitter to a clown emoji with Khan's mustache to express their disgruntlement with the organization. Fans have also been replying to the team's tweets with clown emojis.

The backlash comes in the wake of NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reporting that Baalke will return as Jaguars general manager in 2022 and be involved in the team's head coaching search.
