Washington Commanders quarterback Taylor Heinicke has made it a tradition this season to purchase a pair of Air Jordans for himself after each win. This week, he included the team's offensive line.

Following the Commanders' 31-21 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, Heinicke bought each of his linemen a pair of Jordans.

"I was trying to keep it a little surprise," Heinicke said of the gesture, according to ESPN's John Keim. "They've been busting their ass all year; they need to be compensated for that. I ordered some (Jordans) for the starting line this past week. Heck, if they keep doing that, they'll be getting some more."

Heinicke buys himself Jordans in the color of the opponent he beats. He chose a pair of Metallic Green Air Jordan 4s for his latest purchase, while his linemen received something different.

"I can't spend that much money," he said, laughing. "But I got them cool ones that have the Eagles' colors."

Heinicke is 3-1 since replacing the injured Carson Wentz as the Commanders' starting quarterback. He'll get the nod again Sunday against the Houston Texans.
