Cousins getting custom grills: 'Don't know if fake ones are gonna pass'

Kirk Cousins will soon be the owner of a pair of grills, though the Minnesota Vikings quarterback admits he needs to learn a bit more about them first.

Cousins teased the possibility of getting grills like teammate Justin Jefferson following the Vikings' Thanksgiving Day win over the New England Patriots, saying he'd be reaching out to his dentist to request a pair.

As it turns out, there's no shortage of dentists willing to fulfill Cousins' request.

"I got an email from my home dentist on Friday morning, and my agent got probably a half-dozen emails from dentists, even from Canada, reaching out saying they were willing to make some grills if need be," Cousins told reporters Wednesday. "So there's no lack of effort or no lack of help and resources. We'll see what we can pull off before this season's over, but I guess I would say it's in the works."

Cousins said his hometown dentist will be the one making his grills, though he admitted he still has a lot to learn about the subject.

"This is not my world. This is not my area of expertise," he said. "I don't even know what it takes to make them. I don't know if fake ones are gonna pass for real ones or if I'm gonna be spotted a mile away that they're not the real deal, or if I need to get the real deal."
