Jackson takes issue with Kizer staying out late Friday night

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson soured on DeShone Kizer upon learning the quarterback had enjoyed a night on the town less than 48 hours before Sunday's game.

"Thank you for telling me," he said to reporters when asked about a video that showed Kizer at a bar around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Keith Britton of 92.3 The Fan.

Kizer acknowledged his outing postgame Sunday, but said his late night shouldn't cause anyone to question his commitment to football.

"I was out. I was at the facility the next day," the rookie said, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, before attempting to shut down additional questions about the subject. "I'm not here to talk about my personal life."

The Browns sunk to 0-7 on the season after falling 12-9 in overtime to the Tennessee Titans. Kizer was benched in the third quarter following a pair of interceptions.
