Detroit Lions fans won't be constantly reminded of Reggie Bush and the team's long-lasting rushing problems anymore.

Rookie running back Kerryon Johnson ran for 101 yards during Sunday night's victory over the New England Patriots, becoming the team's first rusher to eclipse the 100-yard mark since the recently-retired Bush ran for 117 yards against the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 28, 2013.

LeGarrette Blount and Theo Riddick, Johnson's veteran teammates, let him know the importance of his accomplishment on the sideline late in the fourth quarter.

Johnson, the No. 43 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, needed 16 carries to hit the milestone mark (6.3 yards per carry). He added two receptions for nine yards.
