Dion Jordan suspended 10 games for PED violation

Free-agent defensive end Dion Jordan received a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
An arbitrator has already denied his appeal. Jordan took Adderall, a medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, after his therapeutic use exemption expired.
"I made a mistake," the 29-year-old told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero on Tuesday. "I feel like the person that I am, I'm ready to move forward, I've been ready to move forward, with this specific issue. I've been working really hard with myself outside of football, and I can see the progress as a young man, as Dion Jordan, I can see it.
"My whole lifestyle - it's been a 180-degree change. I fucked up, man. I can't fix this shit. It is what it is. But I know what I can't do and what not to do compared to the mistakes I've made in the past."
Jordan has served three prior suspensions related to tests for performance-enhancing drugs. Shortcomings on and off the field have kept him from reaching his potential since entering the league as the No. 3 overall pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2013.
Jordan attributed his latest slip-up to a variety of stressors that impacted him late last season, including the death of his grandmother and personal issues that affected his sister.
After struggling with substance abuse in the past, Jordan said he's been sober for over two years.
The former Oregon star spent the last two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, tallying 5.5 sacks over 17 appearances.
