Former Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Malik McDowell was arrested in February and TMZ Sports obtained a video of the incident Tuesday.

The video shows McDowell initially being stopped for speeding in Lathrup Village, Mich. As a police officer asked for his license and registration, McDowell refused and repeatedly demanded to speak to a supervisor.

The 23-year-old then entered a gas station convenience store, where the two fought. After multiple warnings, the officer used a taser but the struggle continued until police backup arrived.

McDowell is facing charges for assault, resisting arrest, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a result of the incident.

The No. 35 overall pick in the 2017 draft never got a chance to start his NFL career after he suffered multiple injuries - including a concussion and facial injuries - in an ATV accident a few weeks before his rookie camp. Seattle released him this past March.
