Tua Tagovailoa is ready to begin his NFL journey.

"Tua is fully cleared and ready to compete without any restrictions," said Steinberg Sports & Entertainment president Chris Cabott, whose firm represents Tagovailoa, according to Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports.

The former Alabama signal-caller's condition has steadily improved since he underwent hip surgery in November.

Tagovailoa was expected to be healthy by April and his rehabilitation process has seemingly gone as planned.

He was considered a candidate to be selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft before suffering a dislocated hip and associated fracture midway through last season.

Tagovailoa intended to hold an individual pro day on April 9, but the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He shared a video last week of his progress:

The 2020 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place from April 23 to 25.
