Report: NFLPA requests opt-out clauses for 2020 season

The National Football League Players Association has made several requests related to opt-out clauses during negotiations pertaining to the 2020 season, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports.

The NFLPA's asks reportedly include:

• A clause to allow at-risk players to receive their salaries but no bonuses should they decide not to play.
• A clause allowing players with at-risk family members to earn an accrued season and the associated benefits if they sit out.
• An unspecified clause for players who choose to leave their team after reporting.
• A $250,000 stipend for all players who attend camps that are shut down due to the coronavirus, with that figure rising to $500,000 if the season begins but is ultimately halted.

The NFL and NFLPA discussed proposals for the 2020 season on Monday and Tuesday but are not scheduled to talk Wednesday.
