Mitchell Trubisky will remain the Chicago Bears' starting quarterback for their Week 13 game versus the Detroit Lions, head coach Matt Nagy announced Wednesday.

Trubisky drew his first start since Week 3 in Sunday's resounding 41-25 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The 26-year-old went 26-for-46 for 242 yards, three touchdown passes, and two interceptions.

Nick Foles has been sidelined by a hip injury suffered in Week 10. The veteran passer returned to practice on Wednesday but got in only a limited session.

Chicago benched Trubisky due to poor play but the Foles injury opened the door for his return.

The Bears enter Week 13 at 5-6 and on the outside of the NFC playoff picture.
