NEW YORK (AP) — Denver Broncos linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended by the NFL for one game for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The NFL announced the punishment on Monday. Greenlaw has three days to appeal the decision.

According to the league, Greenlaw chased after referee Brad Allen and threatened him as he tried to leave the field following Denver's 33-32 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday.

The AFC West-leading Broncos (5-2) host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
