The Pittsburgh Penguins inked restricted free-agent forward Teddy Blueger to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $750,000, the club announced Tuesday.

Blueger collected six goals and 10 points in 28 games with the Penguins this past season. He also racked up 21 goals and 39 points in 45 contests with Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, in 2018-19.

The 24-year-old got his first taste of NHL action in that campaign after spending parts of four seasons with the AHL squad.

Pittsburgh drafted the Latvian center 52nd overall in 2012.
