Evgeni Malkin is officially back.

The Pittsburgh Penguins star suited up against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday afternoon after head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed he would return pregame.

Malkin was held off the scoresheet, but he registered six shots on goal while logging 19:45 of ice time.

The 33-year-old forward, who missed 11 games with an apparent leg ailment, was activated off injured reserve on Friday after practicing in full capacity.

Malkin was hurt during the Penguins' second game of the season on Oct. 5 versus the Columbus Blue Jackets.
