Evander Kane criticized NHL disciplinarian George Parros and his department, which handed the San Jose Sharks forward his latest suspension.

Kane was banned three games Saturday for elbowing Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk on Friday.

The Sharks winger made his feelings about the decision known less than an hour after the suspension was announced.

Shortly before sharing his statement, Kane tweeted two other plays that he felt received insufficient punishment.

Kane received a two-minute minor for elbowing on the play in question Friday, which came late in the third period. The Sharks managed to kill the penalty and hold on for a 3-2 win.

This marks Kane's fourth career suspension. He received a three-game ban for abuse of an official in the preseason, a one-game punishment for cross-checking in 2018, and he sat two contests for boarding in 2014.
