Edmonton Oilers netminder Mikko Koskinen will make his first career postseason start in Game 2 against the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday.

Koskinen took over during the second period of Game 1 after Mike Smith allowed five goals - including four in the opening frame - on 23 shots. Koskinen turned aside 18-of-19 shots he faced in the 6-4 loss.

The 32-year-old Finnish puck-stopper owned an 18-13-3 record with a 2.75 goals-against average and .917 save percentage this season, his second with the Oilers.

Edmonton will look to give its goaltenders more support in Game 2. The Blackhawks owned a Corsi For of 55.7% and a 60% share of high-danger scoring chances in the series opener.
