The Ottawa Senators inked forward Nick Paul to a two-year deal worth $2.7 million, the club announced Wednesday.

Paul had a salary arbitration hearing scheduled for Nov. 1.

The 25-year-old recorded career bests with nine goals and 11 assists over 56 games with the Senators in 2019-20. The 6-foot-3 winger also ranked third on the club with 122 hits.

Ottawa has three remaining restricted free agents from the team's 2019-20 roster - forwards Connor Brown, Rudolfs Balcers, and Chris Tierney.
