With the conference finals in the books, the NHL released the schedule for the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday night.
The Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers will meet in a rematch of the 2024 Cup Final, with the series getting underway with Game 1 on Wednesday in Edmonton.
The start of the series will provide six full days off for the Panthers, while the Oilers will get five days off after both teams won their conference final series in five games.
Florida won the Stanley Cup last year in seven games after taking a 3-0 series lead before Edmonton forced Game 7 with three straight victories. The Panthers had home-ice advantage for last year's decisive matchup, but this time it's the Oilers who own home-ice advantage for the series.
