Tiger Woods is on top of the golf world once again.

The 42-year-old won the Tour Championship by two strokes on Sunday to capture his first title since 2013.

His win at East Lake marks Woods' 80th career PGA Tour victory and third Tour Championship, the perfect end to a remarkable comeback season.

Woods led the tournament from wire-to-wire and shot a 1-over 71 in Round 4 to finish at 11-under in the season finale. With massive galleries following him to witness history unfold, he generated an iconic roar with an opening-hole birdie. Woods would never look back, at some points holding a five-shot lead over the field.

Standing on the tee of the par-5 18th with a two-shot lead over Billy Horschel, Tiger smashed a 348-yard drive down the fairway and walked off the tee deck smiling ear-to-ear alongside playing partner Rory McIlroy.

After Woods hit his second shot, chaos ensued as he walked to the green. Hundreds of fans stormed the fairway, a frantic scene only Tiger is capable of creating.

Eventually, a tap-in par would give Woods his 80th career clinching moment.

Tiger had the chance to win the FedEx Cup in addition to the Tour Championship, but Justin Rose birdied the final hole to lock up the $10-million prize and fourth on the tournament leaderboard.

Woods is now No. 13 in the world rankings, all the way up from 656th where he sat at the end of 2017.
