Justin Rose extended his lead to two after carding a 1-under 70 in Round 2 of the U.S. Open on Friday.

The 2013 champ is at 7-under through 36 holes to lead a group of players who are two back, but only Aaron Wise is in the clubhouse at 5-under after shooting even on Day 2 at Pebble Beach.

Tiger Woods shot a disappointing 1-over 72 in Round 2. After making a birdie on his second hole of the day, Woods rattled off 14 straight pars before ending his round with back-to-back bogeys.

Woods' second round was the opposite of his first. He hit 11-of-13 fairways and 13-of-18 greens, but an ice-cold putter let down the 15-time major winner. Woods will play the weekend at Pebble, but he's seven shots behind Rose.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard looks midway through Day 2:

Rory McIlroy (3-under) and Dustin Johnson (Even) headline the players in the afternoon wave.
