Win No. 82 for Tiger Woods is well within reach.

The reigning Masters champion carded a 4-under 66 in Round 3 of the Zozo Championship to carry a three-shot lead into the final 18 holes.

Woods was nearly flawless during Sunday's performance. After an opening bogey, he quickly dialed in his game and made six birdies over an 11-hole stretch. He made a disappointing par on the par-5 18th to remain at 16-under for the tournament.

Woods is now 18 holes away from tying Sam Snead for the most PGA Tour victories of all time.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard stands after Round 3:

Place Player To Par R3 Score
1 Tiger Woods -16 66
2 Hideki Matsuyama -13 65
3 Gary Woodland -12 68
T4 Xander Schauffele -11 65
T4 Billy Horschel -11 64
T4 Corey Conners -11 66
7 Rory McIlroy -10 63

Round 4 of the Zozo Championship is already underway. Tiger's final group tees off at 1:00 a.m. ET and they will play as many holes as possible before dark.

The inaugural PGA Tour event in Japan will finish on Monday.
