Tony Finau, Max Homa, and Si Woo Kim share the 54-hole lead at The American Express.

Finau posted a 67 in Round 3 at the Stadium Course at PGA West in La Quinta, California, to grab his portion of the top spot. Kim matched Finau's 5-under performance Saturday.

Homa, meanwhile, fired 65 to make the most of moving day. His round included nine birdies, a double-bogey, and an impressive par save on No. 18 where he got up and down from 109 yards to remain in a tie for first.

But even with the logjam at the top, all eyes will be on Finau for the final round. Since his last victory at the 2016 Puerto Rico Open, the 31-year-old has been at or within three shots of the lead going into the final round 13 times with no wins to show for it, according to the 15th Club's Justin Ray.

And then there's this:

Richy Werenski is alone in fourth, one shot behind the 15-under leaders.

Here's how the top of the leaderboard stands with one round remaining.

Place Player To Par R3 Score
T1 Max Homa -15 65
T1 Si Woo Kim -15 67
T1 Tony Finau -15 67
4 Richy Werenski -14 67
T5 Russell Knox -13 64
T5 Brian Harman -13 67
T5 Emiliano Grillo -13 68

Russell Knox's 64 was the lowest of Day 3.

Sungjae Im, the 36-hole leader, carded 73 that included three bogeys and a triple, which dropped him into a tie for 20th at 10-under.
