Koepka says he made LIV decision after U.S. Open
Brooks Koepka said Tuesday that he didn't decide to join Greg Norman's Saudi-backed LIV Golf series until after the U.S. Open.
"You guys will never believe me," Koepka told reporters, "but we never even had the conversation (on LIV) until after the U.S. Open."

Ahead of the U.S. Open two weeks ago, Koepka said the media was throwing a "black cloud" over the tournament by bringing up LIV Golf.
A week later, on June 22, Koepka became the latest TOUR player to join the rival league.
He said Tuesday that he was looking forward to one benefit of the LIV Golf schedule.
"When you're away from home for a month ... I don't have any kids that I know about, but life does go on. It'll be nice to be home a little bit more," Koepka said, according to Golf's Dylan Dethier.
Koepka is set to tee off at the second LIV Golf event, which runs June 30-July 2 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club outside of Portland. Koepka said he has not resigned from the PGA TOUR, according to Dethier. However, the PGA TOUR suspended all players taking part in current and future LIV Golf events earlier in June.
