McIlroy-Hovland showdown in final group on Sunday at The Open
It will be Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland in a virtual head-to-head matchup for the Claret Jug on Sunday at St. Andrews.
The European Ryder Cup duo are four shots clear of the field at The Open and make up the final ground on Sunday at 9:50 a.m. ET, 2:50 p.m. local. The pair fired matching 66s on Saturday to open the advantage over the Round 3 final group of Cameron Young and Cameron Smith.
The Camerons are once again paired together, this time in the penultimate group at 9:40 a.m. at the historic venue.
