Davis Love III has added two final names to his team of captain's assistants for the upcoming Presidents Cup.

Webb Simpson and Steve Stricker were named assistants for the U.S., the tournament announced Tuesday.

The pair will join previously announced assistants Zach Johnson and Fred Couples when the Presidents Cup heads to Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, in late September.

Simpson, the youngest of the captains at 36, is making his debut as an assistant. The seven-time TOUR winner lives in Charlotte and is a member at Quail Hollow Club.

Despite his lack of experience as a captain, Simpson has been on a combined six Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup teams for the U.S. Stricker has been on a combined eight teams.

Stricker, 55, was also the most recent U.S. Ryder Cup captain, leading his team to a historic win over Europe last year. Stricker also captained the 2017 U.S. Presidents Cup team to an overwhelming win with Love and Couples on his side as assistants.

The Presidents Cup is set for Sept. 20-25. Trevor Immelman is captain of the International team with Mike Weir, K.J. Choi, Geoff Ogilvy, and Camilo Villegas serving as assistants.
