A considerable amount of work remains to be done for Christian Yelich to receive his wish and get a ticket out of Miami, but it at least appears the Marlins are becoming more receptive to moving him.

The Marlins have received interest from a number of teams for the 26-year-old outfielder and at least one rival believes Miami's front office has become "more reasonable" in its trade demands, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

It was reported earlier this week that the Marlins were seeking star-level talent in return for Yelich, and asked the Atlanta Braves for outfielder Ronald Acuna, who is considered one of MLB's best prospects. The Braves rejected the deal.

Jackson reports the Marlins haven't guaranteed Yelich he'll be traded, and they still want multiple prospects from a team's top-10 list. The Marlins have also expressed a preference for more developed prospects who are in at least Double-A.

Yelich, who is under contract the next five seasons, hit .282/.369/.439 with 18 home runs, 36 doubles, and 16 stolen bases in 156 games last season.
