Dez Bryant's future is uncertain.

The Dallas Cowboys receiver hasn't recorded a 1,000-yard season or a 10-plus touchdown campaign since 2014. He's no longer considered among the best at his position, but he's scheduled to count $16.5 million against the cap next season.

Cowboys chief operating officer Stephen Jones hinted at the possibility of asking Bryant to take a pay cut on Thursday, but Bryant said he hasn't been approached.

"I haven't heard a word on that. I'm just controlling the things I can control. I have yet to talk to my agent about anything," Bryant said Friday on 105.3 The Fan, according to Jeremy Bergman of NFL.com.

Bryant took ownership of his poor 2017 in which he finished with 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns, and vowed to come back with a vengeance.

"I promise you, I'm going to shut a lot of people up," he said.
