Michigan State wrapped up the Big Ten regular-season title on Sunday with a tight win over Wisconsin, but it was Miles Bridges' eligibility that was the hot topic of conversation after the contest.

The star sophomore was included in documents related to a federal investigation stating he may have received improper benefits from an agency.

After a very prompt NCAA investigation into the report, Bridges was deemed eligible prior to Sunday's game, something head coach Tom Izzo needed before he would play him.

"They cleared him to play or I wouldn't have played him," Izzo said, as per Kyle Austin of MLive.com. "There was one major issue with the $400 that we, and they, found to be completely untrue."

As for Bridges being eligible for the remainder of the season, Izzo was very direct when asked if he was confident the star would be able to continue playing.

"I am, in every way, shape, and form."

Bridges being ruled eligible is a massive decision for the Spartans as he leads the team in scoring and is the No. 1 option on offense. If Michigan State has any hope of making a deep run in March, Bridges will need to be at the top of his game.

Luckily for Michigan State fans, it appears ineligibility won't keep him from doing so.
