Barcelona bench Rashford, Lewandowski for Atletico showdown
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick named Marcus Rashford and Robert Lewandowski on the bench for the Champions League quarter-final second leg clash at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
The five-time winners trail 2-0 and need to mount a comeback but Flick left on the bench two of the attackers many expected to start at the Metropolitano stadium.
Looking to press Atletico high, the coach selected Ferran Torres up front, three days after he ended a two-month goal drought in La Liga against Espanyol.
Flick also started the tenacious Gavi in midfield for the first time in the Champions League since April 15 last year.
Diego Simeone named the same line-up as for the first leg at Camp Nou, with the exception of former Barca defender Clement Lenglet replacing the injured David Hancko.
