Watch: Milan rescues late result with last-gasp stunner against Rijeka
AC Milan forward Patrick Cutrone came to the rescue for the Italian outfit in a Europa League tilt against Croatian champion Rijeka, scoring a dramatic 94th-minute goal off a well-timed run with a superb, deft touch over the 'keeper.
The goal was doubly sweet as it secured a 3-2 victory and helped wipe away an 89th-minute penalty that threatened to undo the night's work for Vincenzo Montella's side.
Cutrone, who at 19 has already turned heads due to his rise through AC Milan's senior ranks, now has his 2nd goal in European competition to add to a modest but ever-growing tally of two goals in five Serie A appearances.
Andre Silva and Mateo Musacchio also found the back of the net at the San Siro Stadium, and Milan sits pretty atop Group D with six points out of two group stage matches.
