Former Phoenix Mercury guard Kia Nurse is signing with the Seattle Storm, the team announced on Friday.

The Canadian missed the entire 2022 campaign after tearing her ACL in the 2021 playoffs with the Mercury.

Nurse is set to enter her fifth WNBA campaign after being drafted with the No. 10 pick out of UConn in 2018. She put up a career-best season in 2019 with the New York Liberty, averaging 13.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game, and being named to the All-Star team.

For her career, the 26-year-old boasts averages of 11.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across 121 games, including 91 starts.

The Storm are in the midst of a major roster shakeup after legendary point guard Sue Bird's retirement and star forward Breanna Stewart's move to the Liberty. The franchise has made the playoffs in seven straight seasons.
