U.S. seeks redemption vs. Canada in gold-medal rematch

For the fifth time in Winter Olympics history, the gold-medal game in women's hockey will feature Canada and the United States. A rejuvenated group from the U.S. is out for revenge, as the Americans will look to end Canada's streak of four straight golds in the event.

Update: The latest installment of this epic rivalry delivered once again, as the U.S. defeated Canada in a thrilling shootout to win gold in women's hockey for the first time since 1998.

Vonn, Shiffrin go head-to-head in women's combined

The wait is over. Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn are expected to compete against one another in women's combined downhill and slalom. Both talented Americans have one medal each to their name at PyeongChang 2018 as all eyes will be on the two women in both portions of the combined event.

Update: Mikaela Shiffrin captured silver, while Lindsey Vonn made a mistake in the slalom portion, finishing off the podium in her likely Olympic finale.

Anderson pursues 2nd gold medal at PyeongChang

The women's big air final, which was moved up a day due to strong winds, is sure to attract quite the crowd - particularly American supporters. Three athletes from the United States will aim for a podium finish, none more heralded than Jamie Anderson, who took home gold at the slopestyle event. Canadian slopestyle silver medalist Laurie Blouin is another one to watch.

Update: Anderson wins silver, Austria's Anna Gasser takes gold

U.S. men look to upset Koe's rink in curling semis

The U.S. men's curling rink is chasing its first medal since winning bronze in 2006 in Turin. To make that dream a reality, American skip John Shuster needs to get by the Canadian team, led by Kevin Koe. After years of dominance by Canada, the U.S. enters the semis having won three straight, so the Americans' time could be now.

4 Americans compete in ski halfpipe finals

If the U.S. is going to sweep the podium in any event, men's ski halfpipe could be it. Aaron Blunck leads the charge after posting the best run in the qualifiers at 94.40, followed by fellow Americans Alex Ferreira (92.60) and Torin Yater-Wallace (89.60). David Wise, another medal favorite, is the fourth and last athlete from the U.S. to watch in the final.

Update: Wise won the gold medal, his second dating back to Sochi 2014, followed by Ferreira, who earned silver.
