Goldberg says Undertaker match later than hoped but 'still a dream'
WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg will finally get the opportunity to face The Undertaker in a singles match when the company returns to Saudi Arabia in June for Super ShowDown.
Goldberg shared his thoughts on the match in an Instagram post on Tuesday, acknowledging that he wishes it would've happened years ago.
"Many contributing factors (are) making it an extremely difficult decision for me to accept this match," he wrote.
"A match against #Undertaker would've been a dream 10-15 years ago but it never happened. We can't change the past, but somehow the stars have aligned and though it be (a) bit later than desired, this matchup is still a dream for me. I have nothing but respect for Taker, he's a legend, BUT now I do what I do ... prep for war one more time."
Other WWE stars scheduled to compete at Super ShowDown include Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Seth Rollins, and AJ Styles.
