Top story: Eriksen wants to play in top division

Christian Eriksen's agent revealed his client has been offered the opportunity to join the "hugely impressive project" at Wrexham, but it's unlikely the midfielder will drop down to the Championship. "Christian still wants to play in a first-tier competition, and he absolutely wants to stay in Western Europe," Martin Schoots said.

The 33-year-old left Manchester United this summer and has reportedly been approached by clubs in Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United States. (Daily Mail)
