The Milwaukee Brewers are calling up top prospect Keston Hiura on Tuesday, the team announced.

Hiura is the No. 15-ranked prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.

Milwaukee has been using a combination of utility infielder Hernan Perez and two natural third basemen, Mike Moustakas and Travis Shaw, at second so far this season.

Hiura was slashing .333/.408/.698 with 11 home runs and 26 RBIs across 37 games in Triple-A prior to the promotion.

The Brewers drafted the 22-year-old out of UC Irvine with the No. 9 pick in 2017.

Shaw, who has struggled to a .163/.266/.281 slash line to begin the campaign, will head to the injured list in a corresponding move, while utility player Cory Spangenberg was designated for assignment.
