Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is attempting to return from his wrist fracture before the All-Star break starts July 14.

"My goal is to be back before the All-Star break for sure," Carroll said Monday, according to Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports. "We'll see, I gotta listen to my body on this one, but I would like to be back. … I'm operating under all intents of that being the case. If the hand doesn't respond as well as I want, then gotta listen to that and make new plans."

Carroll, who's been sidelined since June 18 with a chip fracture after he was hit by a pitch on his hand during a game against the Toronto Blue Jays, has been taking part in baseball activities at Chase Field.

Manager Torey Lovullo said the 24-year-old will begin dry swings with both hands Tuesday. The skipper added the 2023 All-Star would like to play in this year's Midsummer Classic if the player gets selected and is healthy.

Carroll has recorded 20 homers with 44 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, and a .914 OPS over 72 games this season. His 3.5 fWAR is tied for the NL's fourth-highest total despite missing the last 11 contests.
