New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge isn't in the lineup Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies due to an elbow issue, manager Aaron Boone told reporters, including YES.

Boone added that the club is awaiting imaging results after Judge had difficulty throwing the ball from the outfield in Friday's 12-5 loss. He went 0-for-3 at the dish with a sacrifice fly and an RBI.

"Obviously concerned, but we'll wait and see as they read the imaging," Boone said. "Hopefully have more of that later today."

Judge appeared to be wincing during Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays when he threw the ball in from right field. He served as New York's designated hitter Wednesday before the team had a day off Thursday.

Cody Bellinger is in right field Saturday, with Trent Grisham in center and Jasson Dominguez in left. Trade deadline pickup Ryan McMahon is making his Yankee debut at the hot corner.

Judge, the reigning AL MVP, is the favorite to take home the award again this season. He's hitting .342/.449/.711 with 37 home runs and 85 RBIs in 103 games.
