Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. will hit third and serve as the designated hitter in his return to the lineup Monday against the Minnesota Twins after missing four games with hamstring inflammation.

Guerrero had one pinch-hit plate appearance during Sunday's loss to the Miami Marlins. He popped out with two runners on and the Blue Jays down by two in the eighth inning.

The 26-year-old hurt his left hamstring last Monday after doing the splits at first base on a defensive play versus the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Guerrero's hit 21 homers to go along with 69 RBIs and an .892 OPS over 125 games for the AL East-leading Blue Jays this season.
